Cake Update: That’s a Wrap on Principal Photography

My third short filmCakeis in the can. It’s going to be amazing! It has a great script by Patrick Tobin and an award-winning cast and crew. My first film Guitar Lessons won many awards and honors on the festival circuit. I have just started submitting my second, and I anticipate a great run. Cakeshould be the best yet.

My biggest challenge was finding locations. Through friends and my tenacious producer, Lysa, I got wonderful locations – a railroad track, a hospital room, a gorgeous house, (thanks Doug Dombek) and a bus (thanks Coach America!!). And – they cost about twice what I budgeted for them!

I’m still looking for people who think it would be fun to invest in a film and be invited to the special screenings. Everyone who contributes will get a huge thank you in the credits. It’s a bit late to get the perks of a featured extra part in the film or a visit to the set. However, for a really large share, I would still be happy to give you a co-producer’s credit. Of course, everyone who contributes will be invited to the Hollywood premiere, and notified of all the film festival screenings.
